Creasing and Folding

Using our Heidelberg folder with “Tri Score” attachments, we can fold /crease and perforate at up to 12,000 items per hour. Being all-in-house means a much better control on quality and faster lead times.

Normally on papers less than 150gsm, they can be folded without creasing, if thicker than 150gsm or if there are solid colour areas on the spines, we would apply a crease to the spine prior to folding as this helps to avoid cracking on spines that can happen if not.

Sometimes we also recommend lamination as this is the best way to ensure a crisp crease and fold.
